This winter, the Supertech Group, in collaboration with BMW Durban South, launched a heartfelt initiative to bring warmth to those in need. The blanket drive, powered by the generosity of our staff and customers, became a powerful symbol of compassion and community spirit.
Together, we were able to raise over 1,000 blankets and more than R5,000 in donations. What began as a simple act of kindness quickly gained momentum, thanks to the overwhelming support from our customers, employees and the Supertech family. Their contributions helped ensure that this winter was a little warmer for those facing harsh conditions.
The blankets were donated to a range of organisations across the region, each playing a crucial role in supporting vulnerable communities. Among the beneficiaries were the DCC Jesus Dome, Aryan Benevolent Home, Witteklip Secondary School, Chatsworth Hospice, Northdene Veterinary Clinic, CHOC, and the Ethelbert Children’s Home, along with many other groups who work tirelessly to uplift others.
This initiative was more than just a seasonal gesture; it was a reflection of what can be achieved when we work together. We are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed to this drive. Your kindness brought hope and comfort to so many this winter and helped transform our dealership into a force for good this winter.
As the blankets found their way into the hands of those who needed them most, they carried with them not only warmth but also a message: that community still matters, and together, we can make a difference.
